File Upload Issues
If your file fails to upload, first verify the format is one of the supported types: CSV, XLSX, JSON, PDF, or DOCX. Check that the file size is under your plan limit (10 MB Free, 100 MB Pro, 1 GB Enterprise). Ensure the file uses UTF-8 encoding — other encodings may cause parsing errors. For Excel files, data must be in the first worksheet. For PDF and DOCX files, only structured tables are extracted; free-form text and images are skipped. If issues persist, try re-saving the file in a different format (e.g., save an XLSX as CSV).
Slow Dashboards
Dashboard performance depends on the size of your data source and the complexity of your widgets. If a dashboard loads slowly, try these steps: reduce the number of widgets on a single dashboard (split into multiple dashboards if needed), apply date range filters to limit the data being queried, use aggregations in your data source rather than loading raw records, and avoid using multiple high-cardinality dimensions in a single chart.
Connection Errors
If you experience connection errors while using DataWise, first check your internet connection. DataWise is a cloud-based platform and requires a stable internet connection. If other websites work but DataWise does not, the issue may be a temporary service disruption — check our status page at status.aibizops.com. For persistent issues, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or switching to a different browser.
Login Problems
If you cannot log in, first verify your email and password — check for typos and ensure caps lock is off. Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to reset your password via email. If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam folder and add no-reply@aibizops.com to your contacts. Accounts with many failed login attempts are temporarily locked for 15 minutes as a security measure.
Data Not Updating
If your dashboard shows outdated data, first check that the underlying data source reflects the latest version. Go to Data Sources, find the source connected to your dashboard, and verify the "Last Updated" timestamp. If you recently uploaded a new version of the file, confirm the upload completed successfully (status should be "Ready"). For Pro and Enterprise users with scheduled refreshes, verify the refresh schedule is active and the last run succeeded. Click "Refresh Data" on your dashboard or data source page to trigger a manual refresh.
